Recovery Specialist

The Recovery Specialist plays a vital role in the claims lifecycle by pursuing recoveries from liable third parties, mitigating losses, and ensuring efficient resolution of subrogation and reimbursement processes. Working within a non-life insurance company, this position focuses on optimizing recovery opportunities related to property, casualty, motor, or liability claims.
The ideal candidate combines investigative skills with strong negotiation and analytical abilities to secure recoveries in a timely and compliant manner.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any 4-year course
- At least 1–2 years of experience in insurance claims processing, preferably in motor insurance.
- Background in claims recovery, subrogation, or legal processing is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of motor claims procedures, including accident documentation, liability assessment, and recovery workflows.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in reviewing claims and supporting documents.
- Ability to coordinate with adjusters, legal teams, third-party insurers, and insured clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for negotiation and documentation purposes.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
