Risk & Assurance Analyst (SBA) - Manila

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Risk & Internal Control Specialist to strengthen our assurance, compliance, and risk management processes. This role is integral in safeguarding our operations by identifying key risks, monitoring internal controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Role

As a Risk & Internal Control Specialist, you will:

• Identify, assess, and monitor financial, operational, compliance, and IT-related risks.
• Develop and implement assurance programs and review internal control systems.
• Conduct compliance and assurance tests to evaluate adherence to policies and regulations.
• Highlight and report critical issues, non-conformance, or control gaps.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure timely remediation of identified issues.
• Prepare clear, actionable reports and communicate detailed findings to stakeholders.
• Design and deliver training sessions to strengthen compliance awareness.
• Provide regular reports, summaries, and ad-hoc analysis to support the assurance function.

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, Risk, Accountancy, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in operational risk, internal controls, compliance, or assurance (experience in the financial sector or real estate/lease administration preferred).
• Strong knowledge of risk frameworks (RCA, RCSA), control testing, audit practices, and governance standards.
• Skilled in process improvement, compliance monitoring, and risk mitigation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Experience in internal audit or assurance roles within financial institutions, MNCs, or other regulated environments.
• Results-driven with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate findings into actionable insights.
• Proficient in English (written and verbal).
• Open for a project-based engagement.
