Building Operations Supervisor

Job Overview

The position ensures compliance with operational standards, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and well-managed working environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise daily building operations, maintenance, and facility upkeep.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of all common areas.
• Monitor repair works, preventive maintenance, and contractor activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building policies.
• Handle emergency situations and coordinate necessary response actions.
• Oversees facilities and asset management operations.

• Monitor attendance, task completion, and performance standards.
• Conduct daily briefings or huddles.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure proper manpower deployment and coverage.
• Evaluate staff performance and recommend improvements.

• Prepare operational reports and documentation.
• Monitor service provider performance (if applicable).
• Assist in budget monitoring and cost control.
• Support management with facility-related planning and improvements.
• Ensure proper documentation of incidents and operational concerns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with knowledge of Facilities Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in building operations, facilities supervision, or related supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of basic building maintenance and safety standards.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
