The Warehouse Retail Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and releasing retail items. The role ensures that inventory is accurate, orders are prepared on time, and warehouse staff follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily warehouse operations and warehouse personnel.
- Monitor receiving, checking, storing, picking, packing, and releasing of retail items.
- Ensure all stocks are properly labeled, arranged, and stored safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and coordinate stock discrepancies with the concerned department.
- Ensure customer orders, store replenishments, and online orders are prepared and released on time.
- Check the completeness and condition of items before dispatch or delivery.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports.
- Monitor warehouse staff attendance, productivity, and performance.
- Assign tasks and schedules to warehouse personnel.
- Ensure proper handling of damaged, returned, missing, or defective items.
- Coordinate with Retail Stores, E-Commerce, Logistics, Purchasing, and other departments regarding stock movement and delivery concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety within the warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse procedures, and health and safety standards.
- Conduct coaching, training, and performance monitoring for warehouse staff.
- Report operational issues, inventory concerns, and incidents to the Warehouse Manager or Operations Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory, logistics, or retail operations.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience is an advantage.
- Knowledgeable in inventory management, stock control, and warehouse procedures.
- Familiar with retail products, store replenishment, and order fulfillment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience using inventory systems or warehouse management systems is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, or holidays if needed.
