Warehouse Supervisor

Position: Warehouse Supervisor

Will directly report to Warehouse Manager

• Supervise day to day operations in the warehouse - maintains fleet and equipment.
• Maintains personnel structure and approved manning count
• Plans and coordinate local deliveries, monitor and evaluates performance of warehouse staff.
• Monitors the unloading of all goods from the containers to the warehouse and ensures these are received properly via SAP encoding.
• Ensures materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures and GMP findings.
• Oversees proper labelling, follows FIFO and rotation of inventory.
• Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, and discipling delivery team.
• Maintains an equipment structure (forklift and Pallet Jack) and level to accomplish the warehouse receiving operations in a safe and effective manner.
• Coordination with cross functional teams for importation and local delivery schedules.
• Maintains records, reports relevant information, and prepares any necessary documentation.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

• Degree in business, management, logistics or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position.
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics and management
• Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Problem-solving skills.
