As a Sales Development Representative at ShipCalm, you will play a pivotal role in qualifying new business opportunities in the fulfillment and warehousing industry for digitally native brands. This position reports to the Chief Growth Officer.

Role Accountability & Functions
  • Number of SQL created
  • Communicate newly qualified leads deal information to the Growth Team
  • Keep HubSpot companies and contacts current at all times
  • Follow daily priorities: tasks, emails, hot list and warm list
  • Stay up to date with training, join Sr. AE calls when applicable and continually develop sales skills
  • KPIs: Weekly sales qualified leads; Number of sales meetings booked
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Generate new leads through outbound activities (cold calling, social media, third party sites)
  • Qualify inbound leads
  • Manage inbound sales pipeline
  • Book SQL meetings for AEs
  • Maintain and grow existing leads
  • Take inbound meetings and calls
  • Make outbound calls when time permits
  • Set appointments for Sr. Account Executive after leads have been qualified (SQL)
  • Manage MQL (marketing qualified leads) pipeline within CRM System
  • Work on long term company projects to help drive the ShipCalm mission
  • Report to work in a regular and timely manner
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience level: Two or more years of experience in a Sales Development or similar position
Education level: High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation skills
  • Professional presentation and a persuasive, energetic personality
  • Positive attitude and a team player
  • Proficient in Google office applications
  • Proficient CRM Capabilities and other sales generating software
  • Organized, attentive and trustworthy
  • Ability to prioritize a variety of tasks in a manner that enables timely completion
Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands
  • Working in a seated or standing position up to and exceeding eight (8) hours per day
  • Using a calculator, mouse, and keyboard and viewing computer screens
  • Using a telephone or virtual telephone via PC
Schedule and Location
  • Schedule: This is a full-time position scheduled to work Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm Pacific time, subject to change and/or overtime by business demands
  • Location: This position is remote-based
Compensation
  • Hourly Rate: $9-$12/hour USD, DOE
