Senior ServiceNow Developer

Job Summary

This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow functionalities and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow Discovery solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct system analysis and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of ServiceNow applications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in ServiceNow and software development methodologies.
• Document software designs, processes, and technical specifications for future reference.
• Assist in the training and onboarding of new team members on ServiceNow Discovery functionalities.

• Strong expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, including configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules and applications, particularly in ITSM and ITOM.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

• Experience with other ServiceNow modules such as IT Asset Management (ITAM) or IT Operations Management (ITOM).
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and integration with third party applications.
• Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
• Certifications in ServiceNow (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Application Developer) are a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 -7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on ServiceNow.
• Proven experience in implementing and managing ServiceNow Discovery solutions.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
