App Developer

About the role

As an App Developer, you will be instrumental in creating robust, scalable, and user-friendly applications whilst collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional digital solutions that meet our clients' evolving needs.

1. Design, develop, and deploy mobile and web applications using current programming languages and frameworks.
2. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to coding standards and best practices
3. Develop native iOS and Android features as needed.
4. Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities
5. Maintain and update existing applications, implementing enhancements and new features as required
6. Integrate APIs, backend services and navigation/map functionality.
7. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions to support application functionality
8. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations

1. Proven experience as an App Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
2. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Swift, Kotlin, or JavaScript
3. Solid understanding of mobile app development frameworks and tools (e.g., React Native, Flutter, Android Studio, Xcode)
4. Experience with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
5. Knowledge of databases and API development
6. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as within a team
8. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
9. Understanding of software security best practices and user data protection is advantageous.
