About the role

PTC Commercial Corporation is seeking a dedicated and organised Human Resources Staff member to join our team on a full-time basis in Tondo, Manila City, Metro Manila. This role is essential to supporting our Human Resources operations and contributing to the effective management of our people and organisational development initiatives.

As a Human Resources Staff member, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth HR processes, supporting employee relations, and assisting in the implementation of HR programmes that align with our company's strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities
  1. Processing employee records, including recruitment documents, employment contracts, and personnel files
  2. Assisting with recruitment activities such as job posting, initial screening, and scheduling interviews
  3. Supporting the onboarding and induction process for new employees
  4. Maintaining HR databases and ensuring accurate record-keeping and confidentiality
  5. Handling payroll administration support, including leave management and timekeeping
  6. Providing administrative support for employee relations matters and grievance procedures
  7. Assisting with HR policy implementation and employee communication
  8. Supporting the organisation and delivery of training programmes and staff development activities
  9. Responding to employee queries and providing HR information and support
  10. Assisting with compliance requirements and documentation for regulatory bodies
What we're looking for
  1. Secondary school qualification as a minimum; tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field is preferred
  2. Proven experience working in a Human Resources department or administrative role
  3. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
  6. Knowledge of HR practices, employment law and payroll administration
  7. Discretion and ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
  9. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support colleagues effectively
  10. Familiarity with HR information systems and databases is advantageous
