Job Description
As a Senior Financial/Commercial Analyst, you'll deliver robust financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis, support budgeting processes, manage cost control and variance tracking, and partner with key stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes.You'll also identify process improvements and monitor emerging market trends to support business growth and efficiency across the Retail & Data Solutions team.

The Qualifications We Seek
Educational Background- Degree-level qualification in a finance-related field (essential)
- CA or CPA qualification, or currently pursuing (desirable)
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Financial Analyst or Commercial Analyst in a medium to large organization
- Strong background in management accounting and financial reporting
- Proven ability to analyze data, support business decisions, and provide commercial insights
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience working independently and in cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Confident presenting to and engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including Executive Management
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
- Familiarity with SAP (preferred)
- Experience with Workday Adaptive and Power BI (preferred)
Your Daily Tasks
Financial Analysis- Analyze variances in month-end results against budget and forecast
- Understd business processes and systems to identify and implement improvements
- Identify reporting and process enhancements to support financial clarity for senior staff
- Analyze trends, recommend corrective actions, and contribute to business improvement projects
- Prepare annual operating and capital expenditure budgets and monthly forecasts, with oversight of revenue and costs
- Assist in developing MRR, seasonal, and volume-driven forecasts, including state-level reporting
- Improve financial and non-financial KPIs and business drivers for budgeting and analysis
- Review results and provide insights on MRR trends, cost anomalies, and profitability opportunities
- Act as a business partner to strategic stakeholders, including the Head of Finance and ELT members
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through streamlined and automated processes
- Support the development of best-in-class systems using tools like Microsoft Power BI and Adaptive Insights
- Use product, financial, and market data to support strategic recommendations and business case development
- Collaborate with Product, Customer Experience, Finance, and Sales to align commercial opportunities with market trends
- Analyze business performance across sales, support, and product to identify new commercial opportunities
