Procurement Staff (Asset and Inventory Management)

Job description:

An Asset and Inventory Management Specialist is responsible for tracking, managing, and maintaining an organization’s physical assets and inventory. This role ensures accurate asset records, proper stock levels, efficient asset utilization, and compliance with company policies through monitoring, reporting, and coordination with different departments.

• At least 2 - 5 Years experience in Inventory Management.
• Develops and maintains inventory databases for supplies and materials used.
• Preferably with basic knowledge in computer and printer troubleshooting

• Maintain accurate records of all company assets and inventory using manual logs and/or inventory management systems
• Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and asset audits
• Record asset acquisition, movement, transfer, and disposal
• Label, tag, and track assets to ensure accountability
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, and other departments regarding inventory needs and asset status
• Prepare inventory and asset reports for management review
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and security of assets and inventory on assigned company warehouses
• Investigate and report discrepancies, damages, or losses
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
