Inventory Analyst

Job Overview:
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, monitoring daily inventory levels, and ensuring proper documentation of all warehouse transactions. This role supports operational planning by analyzing inventory data, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating with warehouse teams to ensure efficient and compliant inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily inventory levels and ensure accuracy of stock records in the system.
- Conduct regular cycle counts, spot checks, and full physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between system records and actual stock.
- Analyze inventory movements and aging reports to support operational planning.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel regarding receiving, put-away, storage conditions, and dispatch processes.
- Ensure proper documentation for inbound and outbound items, including quantity, condition, and storage location.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.
- Track and validate underweight/overweight items, shortages, and damages based on receiving documents.
- Maintain updated and organized inventory files, logs, and records.
- Support process improvements to enhance accuracy, reduce discrepancies, and streamline warehouse operations.
- Communicate inventory issues to relevant departments and storage, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operations procedures, and audit requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in supply chain, inventory control, or warehousing.
- Experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive operations.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
