Business Development Manager
Area of Assignment: Visayas & Mindanao
K-Logistikus Phils. Inc. is seeking a highly driven and strategic Business Development Manager to spearhead business expansion initiatives across the Visayas and Mindanao regions. This role is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and delivering customized logistics solutions that contribute to the company's revenue growth and market leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand K-Logistikus' presence in the Visayas and Mindanao markets.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in warehousing, transportation, distribution, and other integrated logistics services.
- Lead the entire sales cycle—from prospecting and client engagement to proposal development, contract negotiation, and account acquisition.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify emerging opportunities and strengthen the company's competitive advantage.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, clients, industry partners, and other stakeholders to generate long-term business partnerships.
- Collaborate with Operations and other internal teams to design and present tailored logistics solutions that address client needs while ensuring operational feasibility and service excellence.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive business presentations, proposals, Requests for Proposal (RFP) responses, and commercial agreements to prospective clients and senior leadership.
- Represent the company in client meetings, business forums, industry events, and networking activities to enhance brand visibility and expand professional networks.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, provide regular business development reports, and ensure the achievement of assigned sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and support account retention efforts by fostering strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for business expansion within existing accounts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or any related field.
- At least five (5) years of progressive experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management, preferably within the logistics, warehousing, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain industry.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets, acquiring key accounts, and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, warehousing solutions, transportation management, and supply chain concepts is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic, results-oriented, and capable of developing innovative solutions to meet client requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
- Willing to travel extensively within the Visayas and Mindanao regions.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
