BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – CEBU

Objective:

Engage and drive Sales Revenue and Margin attainment by partnering with Philippine A/V Distributors, Resellers, System Integrators, OEMs and direct customers. Considering the strategic nature of this role, the Business Development Manager for Philippines is tasked with balancing relationship building, expertise in AV services and programs, and ensuring revenue and margin growth.

Regular engagement, feedback sessions, and strategic alignments are integral to ensuring harmony with both company goals and partner needs.

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Drive Revenue & Margin through Active Services & Programs (Top Priority)
  • Effectively engage proactively with partners to promote and sell current services and programs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reactive communication to partner requests or needs.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within these partner organizations.
  • Prioritize the active services and programs in all discussions, ensuring they are at the forefront of all sales initiatives.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets set by management for the Philippines region.
  1. Expertise in Services, Programs & Technologies
  • Develop and maintain deep expertise and be able to articulate the Collabtech value proposition.
  • Have a deep understanding and ability to articulate what sets Collabtech apart from other service providers.
  • Fully understand the processes and workflows in delivering our services/programs to partners.
  • Have a fundamental understanding of the technologies that underpin our services and programs, ensuring you can communicate their benefits and intricacies effectively (I.e., MTR (Microsoft Teams Rooms), Zoom, etc.)
  • Be the go-to resource for partners when they have questions or need clarification about any service/program specifics or associated technologies.
  1. Own & Understand Sales Numbers
  • Track sales figures for Philippines, focusing on transactions with Philippine A/V and Microsoft Teams Rooms Distributors.
  • Provide and update forecasts each week, ensuring they are accurate and reflective of the latest data.
  • Emphasize strong and continuous communication to leadership regarding sales progress, challenges, and projections.
  • Adjust strategies based on feedback and changing market conditions.
  1. Communication & Relationship Building
  • Dedicate at least 80% of working time to partner contact and communication, aiming to drive awareness and discuss our services/programs.
  • Appropriately represent Collabtech at approved partner events within Philippines
  • Establish resilient, value-driven relationships with key personnel at Philippine A/V and Microsoft Teams Rooms Distributors.
  1. Collaboration with Internal Team
  • Collaborate closely with Operations Project Managers to guarantee seamless project completion associated with Philippine A/V and Microsoft Teams Rooms Distributors
  • Extract insights from the delivery team to enhance offerings and sales pitches tailored to these partners.
  • Employ collaboration insights to sharpen sales strategies, ensuring they resonate with partners'
  • preferences and needs.
  1. Industry Awareness
  • Stay updated on industry trends within Philippines that pertain to our offerings.
  • Incorporate these insights during engagements with Philippine A/V and Microsoft Teams Rooms Distributors, and others to underscore our value proposition and industry knowledge.
  • Proactively communicate with leadership to adapt our offerings for Philippines to stay in line with market shifts and demands.
  • Provide brief market updates to leadership monthly or as needed, ensuring they are apprised of any significant changes or opportunities.
  1. Identify & Create New Opportunities
  • Cultivate and win new programs and opportunities across our portfolio of services
  • Utilize relationships with our partners to explore and suggest new service or program opportunities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to conceptualize and potentially launch new programs or services based on feedback from these partners.
Core Qualifications
  • Proven sales experience in B2B or technology sectors, ideally within audio-visual, IT, or collaboration solutions.
  • Strong relationship management skills with local distributors, system integrators, and enterprise clients.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Filipino; able to engage confidently with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of AV Platforms and technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, Google and Zoom, Surface Hub, Lenovo, Logitech, MAXHUB, etc.) and ability to articulate their business value.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Analytical and forecasting ability — capable of tracking sales performance, preparing reports, and adjusting strategies based on market feedback.
  • Collaborative approach — works closely with operations, project management, and customer success teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Preferred Attributes
  • Experience in channel sales or partner management within the Philippine technology or AV industry.
  • Familiarity with local procurement processes, government accounts, and enterprise bidding.
  • Strong organizational skills and proactive communication with management and partners.
  • Ability to represent Collabtech at industry events, partner meetings, and client presentations.
  • A customer-first attitude, demonstrating professionalism and responsiveness in all engagements.
Work Environment
  • Onsite or office presence is required
  • Morning shift schedule: 8AM-5PM Monday to Friday
