Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance across our organization. This role involves supporting end-users, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring seamless operation of workplace technologies.The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, a customer-first mindset, and experience in modern IT environments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support for Windows and/or macOS environments
- Administer and manage user accounts via Active Directory, email systems, and cloud platforms
- Support and troubleshoot issues within Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365 environments
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
- Manage and track IT assets, including inventory and lifecycle processes
- Utilize ticketing systems to log, prioritize, and resolve incidents in line with ITSM processes
- Assist with endpoint security tools and ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices
- Support networking-related concerns (LAN, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP)
- Contribute to process improvements, including scripting or automation where applicable
- Maintain accurate documentation for incidents, processes, and system configurations
- Proven experience in IT support, service desk, or similar role
- Strong working knowledge of Active Directory and user account administration
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP)
- Experience with IT asset management and inventory tracking
- Exposure to endpoint security tools and cybersecurity best practices
- Hands-on experience with IT ticketing systems and ITSM frameworks
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or similar
