Production Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to optimize resources, improve operational efficiency, and lead a high-performing production team.

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily production operations to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery of products.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer requirements and business objectives.
• Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure products are manufactured in compliance with company quality standards and specifications.
• Enforce workplace safety policies and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate production personnel to maintain a productive and motivated workforce.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Engineering, Quality Control, and Sales departments to ensure smooth production operations.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate with the Purchasing and Warehouse teams to prevent production delays.
• Prepare production reports, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and production resources.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, product quality, and overall operational performance.
• Manage production costs while maintaining quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering (preferred) or a related Engineering field.
• Licensed Metallurgical Engineer is an advantage.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in production or manufacturing management.
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication, welding processes, quality control, and production planning.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in production scheduling, inventory management, and process improvement.
• Familiarity with occupational safety standards and quality management systems is an advantage.
