ABOUT THE ROLE.
Our Accounts Receivable Team track and manage payments received from our more than 10,000 customers all over Australia.
We are a professional team responsible for monitoring and managing accounts and invoicing and following up with any customers with outstanding payments.
We work closely with other Team departments to ensure the correct amounts are collected in a timely manner, verified, and recorded, account discrepancies are resolved, and other tasks to ensure customer payments are received.

KEY REPONSIBILITIES:
- Setting up new and maintaining existing customer accounts based on payment, drug schedule or contact information
- Credit authorisation to assess the risk level of customers and their ability to honour outstanding credit obligations
- Responding to customer requests and queries including issuing of invoices, credit notes, statements, payments, and refunds both electronically and via phone
- Collecting payments from customers and accurately recording them in the system
- Communicating with customers to request payment and arrange payment plans
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending invoice reminders and contacting clients
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
- Constantly update job knowledge ensuring procedures are current
- Other duties as assigned
- Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Manager or accountant
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
