Automotive Admin / Bookkeeper

We are seeking a reliable and organized Workshop Admin Assistant/Bookkeeper to support the daily operations of our busy automotive repair workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage bookings, job cards, and service schedules
• Communicate with customers regarding repairs and updates
• Prepare invoices, quotes, and process payments
• Coordinate with mechanics and parts suppliers
• Maintain records and ensure accurate documentation
• General administrative support for the workshop
• Bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
• Payroll processing (experience with Xero is highly regarded)

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in bookkeeping and administrative support
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (preferably Xero)
• Solid administration and computer/IT skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong customer service experience
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
• Must be familiar with cars, as the role involves ordering parts from different suppliers
• Must have an experience in the automotive industry
• Australian work experience is required
