- Develop automotive product concepts based on customer requirements and market needs
- Conduct feasibility studies for vehicle parts, components, and systems
- Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection
- Conduct risk analysis (FMEA) for automotive applications
- Build and evaluate prototypes of automotive parts and systems
- Develop and execute test plans for performance, durability, and safety
- Analyze test results and implement design improvements
- Ensure compliance with automotive performance standards
- Work closely with suppliers and production teams for automotive parts manufacturing
- Apply DFM/DFA principles for efficient production and assembly
- Troubleshoot design and production issues in automotive components
- Support product scale-up and implementation
- Prepare technical drawings, BOMs, and engineering reports
- Maintain design revisions and documentation control
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards and regulations
- Assist in managing project timelines and deliverables
- Coordinate with R&D, QA, production, and supply chain teams
- Provide updates on project status and technical progress
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- At least 2 years experience in automotive engineering, product development, or design (Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply)
- Experience in automotive prototyping and testing is an advantage
- Automotive HVAC experience is a plus
- Knowledge of automotive materials, systems, and manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
