Senior Finance Manager

Job Title: Senior Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Finance Manager to lead and oversee the organization’s finance and accounting operations. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting executive leadership with financial insights to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily, monthly, and annual finance and accounting operations
• Oversee timely and accurate financial closing (month-end and year-end) and preparation of financial statements
• Ensure full compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, Withholding Tax, and Income Tax filings
• Serve as the primary point of contact for BIR-related matters, including audits and negotiations
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control initiatives to ensure financial efficiency and profitability
• Provide financial analysis, insights, and strategic recommendations to the EVP/Treasurer and senior management
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance, with a strong background in managerial or leadership roles
• Proven experience in BIR compliance and tax negotiation
• Solid experience in financial closing and reporting processes
• Strong background in cost control, budgeting, and long-term financial planning
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Prior experience as a Finance Department Head is highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) designation
• Experience in a senior leadership role equivalent to Finance Department Head
