Sifting Machine Operator – Sugar Reprocessing (Night Shift)

Work Schedule: Night Shift – 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM (with possible overtime as required by operations)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Sifting Machine Operator to support our sugar reprocessing operations at Sterling Compound, Cavite. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring the sugar sifting machine, ensuring proper segregation of fine sugar, coarse particles, and lumpy sugar while maintaining product quality, productivity, and compliance with safety and food handling standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor the sugar sifting machine used for sugar reprocessing.
• Perform proper start-up, operation, and shutdown procedures of the equipment.
• Ensure continuous and proper feeding of sugar materials into the machine.
• Monitor the separation of fine sugar, coarse particles, and lumpy sugar according to required specifications.
• Conduct visual inspection of processed sugar to ensure acceptable quality.
• Perform basic machine checks and immediately report any equipment issues, abnormalities, or operational concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the machine and work area.
• Record daily production output, machine operating hours, downtime, and issues encountered.
• Follow company safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food safety requirements.
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth and efficient night shift production.
• Render overtime work when required to support production requirements and operational needs.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in machine operation, manufacturing, food processing, or warehouse operations is an advantage.
• Willing to work on a night shift schedule (7:00 PM – 4:00 AM).
• Willing to render overtime as needed.
• Physically fit and capable of handling bulk materials.
• Able to follow standard operating procedures and instructions.
• Responsible, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Good attendance and work discipline.
