As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Head to lead our finance and accounting operations and ensure the integrity of our financial systems.

Job Summary:

The Accounting Head will oversee all accounting functions, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. This leadership role is critical to the company’s financial health and strategic decision-making, requiring strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and team management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, and cash flow.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor actual performance versus budget, and report variances with detailed analysis.
• Work closely with operations and procurement teams to align costs, pricing, and margins.
• Implement systems for cost tracking and control, with a focus on food and beverage cost efficiency.
• Ensure full compliance with BIR regulations and the timely filing of all tax returns (VAT, income tax, withholding tax, etc.).
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of tax and accounting records.
• Review and validate payroll summaries and reports prepared by the HR department for accuracy and budget alignment.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure payroll complies with labor laws, contracts, and internal company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, financial reporting standards, and audit requirements.
• Experience in the food and beverage industry or manufacturing is an advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• High integrity and commitment to accuracy and transparency.
