Trade Spends Accounting Supervisor

Position Summary:

The position requires strong leadership capabilities to supervise a team, drive productivity, and support continuous process improvement through automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day activities of the Trade Spends Accounting team, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Monitor team productivity, oversee employees' performance, set individual and team goals, provide timely feedback, support professional development through coaching and training, and ensure deadlines are met effectively.
• Conduct training and onboarding for new hires to ensure knowledge transfer and operational readiness.
• Manage and upload additional Incomplete Collection Remittance Reports (Inc CRRs) in the TS3 Portal.
• Prepare financial analysis reports, and review and reclassify accounting entries to ensure accuracy.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries related to deductions.
• Investigate and resolve deduction issues; escalate complex or unresolved cases to higher management as needed.
• Coordinate closely with other finance functions to ensure alignment, accuracy, and completeness of financial data.
• Identify manual processes and propose automation or improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
• Perform additional accounting tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in supporting the wider finance team.

Job Qualifications:

• Must possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in trade spend, deductions, accounts receivable, or financial analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams, external customers, and management.
• Prior supervisory or managerial experience is beneficial; ability to manage a team and lead projects effectively.
• Proficient in using ERP systems and accounting software, particularly SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis, reporting, and data manipulation.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work onsite full-time in Banawe, Quezon City.
