Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Assistant Group Accountant to play a key role in our Finance and HR team. This position involves managing the operations of all subsidiary and related companies within our group.

Responsibilities

Finance
  • Assist with full sets of accounts for all subsidiaries and related companies, ensuring timely monthly closings and accurate reporting.
  • Assist with verification of data for accuracy and completeness before inputting into the systems.
  • Assist general ledger transactions, bank reconciliations, and schedules, ensuring correctness and timely submission for review.
  • Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, along with budgeting, cash flow management, foreign exchange, and financial projections.

  • Conduct statutory consolidation and prepare group consolidated financial statements.
  • Assist statutory audits, including preparation of financial statements and coordination with external auditors.
  • Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and other external parties or stakeholders.
Human Resources
  • Assist with the full cycle of the employee journey for the group.
  • Assist in maintaining the staff personal files and preparation of employment-related letters.
  • Participate in full spectrum of payroll process.
  • Manage employees’ insurance matters and renewals.
  • Assist with various Finance and Human Resource reports for inter-department submission.
  • Participate in various projects and tasks as assigned by management.
Experience & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Management, or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Licensed CPA is an advantage.
  • Remuneration will be adjusted according to experience.
  • Able to support multiple demands independently and meticulously.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and results-oriented.
  • Strong organisation skills to handle large amount of paperwork.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Able to cope well in a dynamic, fast-paced, and challenging work environment.
  • Detail-oriented and great interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work efficiently.
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
