You should be able to deliver excellent customer support and be accountable for all customer requests and orders from quotation issuance up to delivery.

To be successful in marketing and procurement in the Seaport and Powerplant Industries, you should demonstrate great active listening skills and confidence. Outstanding candidates are self-starters with superb networking abilities, research skills, and a good eye for opportunities.

• Understanding technical product specifications and keeping up-to-date with new company products as well as industry trends.
• Understanding and evaluating the customer’s demand and executing all the requests on time.
• Tabulation of quotations from the supplier's price to client's price.
• Monitoring all the requests for quotations (RFQ), and making sure that all clients will receive them within 2–3 days of the requested date.
• Monitor and follow up on all the quotations/proposals to clients.
• Responsible for processing the client's order.
• PO issuance to the supplier.
• Monitoring all the PO issued to suppliers and delivered to clients on time.
• Attending conferences, lectures, seminars, and workshops to improve your skills and knowledge.
• Conducting market research and obtaining feedback from clients to improve existing products.
• Writing reports and liaising with the production team regarding issues, foreseeable problems, and effective solutions.
• Simplifying technical terms during product demonstrations and post-sales customer support.
• Maintaining strong professional relationships with existing clients and meeting with new clients to expand sales territories.
• Updating orders and sales and negotiating the best contract terms.
• Listening to customers’ needs and coordinating with the technical engineer to advise them on the best products to buy.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or any related field.
• At least 2-3 years of sales experience in the related field is required for this position (elevator).
• Establishing new clients and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
• Prepares price quotation/proposal according to customer requirements
• Responsible for conducting planning and table discussions to address commercial, technical and relationship challenges currently being faced by the principal partners/suppliers
• Excellent organizational, research, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills.
• A professional appearance.
• Flexible and can work extended hours if required
• Candidate must be willing to relocate, depending on the project assignment, within the Philippines
