The hotel is seeking a Front Office Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team. This is a full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila. In this strategic role, you will oversee the daily operations of our front office department, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and seamless hotel operations.

You will be responsible for managing our reception team, coordinating guest services, and maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction. This position is pivotal to our hotel's success, as the front office is often guests' first point of contact and sets the tone for their entire stay.

Key responsibilities
  • Supervise, train, and manage the front office team, including receptionists and guest services staff, ensuring optimal performance and service standards
  • Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring efficiency and accuracy whilst maintaining exceptional guest service
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns with professionalism, resolving issues promptly and to the satisfaction of all parties
  • Manage front office operations, including room inventory, rate management, and coordination with housekeeping and maintenance departments
  • Monitor and optimise front office performance metrics, including occupancy rates, revenue metrics, and guest satisfaction scores
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations across all front office operations
  • Coordinate with other departments including housekeeping, concierge, and management to ensure seamless hotel operations
  • Manage front desk technology systems, including property management systems (PMS) and reservation platforms
  • Prepare reports and analyse data to identify opportunities for improving service delivery and operational efficiency
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of front office staff
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hotel front office operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity
  • Proven track record of managing front office teams and delivering exceptional guest service in a hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including reservations systems, PMS software, and front office procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff at all levels
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities and capacity to handle guest concerns with composure and diplomacy
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is highly advantageous
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
  • Certification in hospitality management or completion of a relevant hospitality qualification is preferred
  • High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
