We are a virtual staffing / VA agency (Employer of Record model) supporting Australian businesses with fully managed offshore talent solutions.

We are seeking a commercially minded Senior Marketing Specialist to support an Australian financial services business focused on B2B growth, authority positioning, and lead generation.

This role sits close to the business and involves direct collaboration with the business owner/director, contributing to both strategic direction and hands-on execution across key marketing channels.

This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to step into a more senior marketing career path without direct people management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support LinkedIn content execution for company and executive profiles
• Write and schedule B2B financial services content
• Build authority positioning through consistent content execution
• Repurpose insights into short-form and long-form content

• Write SEO blog articles and educational financial content
• Support content planning aligned to financial planning topics (AU market)
• Maintain consistent publishing cadence across channels

• Create and send newsletters and EDM campaigns
• Support segmentation, scheduling, and content preparation
• Maintain monthly campaign calendars and workflows

• Collaborate directly with the business owner/director on marketing direction
• Contribute ideas and input into campaign strategy and execution planning
• Assist in preparing marketing assets (presentations, webinars, flyers, templates)
• Manage approvals and execution workflows

• Assist in performance tracking (engagement, reach, content activity)
• Support interpretation of marketing data and campaign improvements
• Contribute to continuous optimisation of marketing activity

About You

• 1–3+ years marketing experience (B2B preferred)
• Exposure to financial services, financial planning, or professional services (AU market preferred)
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Experience with LinkedIn content or social media marketing
• Basic understanding of SEO, email marketing, or content strategy
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Eagerness to grow into a more strategic marketing role

• Experience working with Australian clients or agencies
• Financial planning / wealth / lending industry exposure
• Canva, CMS, or email marketing tools experience
• CRM or marketing automation exposure
• Interest in progressing into a senior marketing role over time

• Direct exposure to Australian financial services marketing
• Hands-on experience across LinkedIn, SEO, EDM, and campaign execution
• Direct collaboration with senior business leadership
• Structured development pathway into more senior marketing roles
• Mentorship in strategic and commercial marketing thinking
