Schillings Finance Corporation is in need of a:
(1) COLLECTIONS ASSISTANT
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or general accounting is preferred.
- Preferably FEMALE
- Basic knowledge of accounts receivable processes, billing, and collection procedures.
- Experience in issuing Official Receipts (OR) and handling Accounts Receivable (AR) documentation is an advantage.
- Familiarity with AR Aging reports and collection tracking is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with accounting or financial systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording financial transactions.
- Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client follow-ups and coordination.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity and professionalism.
- Experience in handling Post-Dated Checks (PDCs) and bank deposits is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of petty cash management and documentation.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Issue Official Receipts (OR) and Accounts Receivable (AR) documents to clients.
- Monitor and track client collections to ensure timely payments.
- Accurately record all collections in the system.
- Maintain and monitor Accounts Receivable Aging reports to identify overdue accounts.
- Prepare and submit daily collection reports.
- Handle the deposit of Post-Dated Checks (PDCs) issued by clients.
- Conduct follow-ups with clients regarding unpaid amortizations and past-due accounts.
- Process petty cash replenishments and maintain proper documentation of related transactions.
