About the role
We are seeking a talented Industrial Engineer to join our team at our Kalawaan office in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in optimizing our operational processes and driving continuous improvement across our logistics operations.As an Industrial Engineer, you will be instrumental in enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and implementing strategic improvements that directly impact the company's competitiveness and growth objectives.
Key responsibilities- Analyse and evaluate existing production and logistics processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
- Design and implement process improvements, focusing on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and operational efficiency
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for various operational functions
- Conduct time and motion studies to optimise workflow and resource allocation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing and six sigma principles
- Utilise data analysis and statistical methods to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports on operational metrics and improvements achieved
- Support facility layout design and ergonomic assessments to enhance workplace safety and productivity
- Identify and evaluate new technologies and equipment that could improve operational performance
- Mentor and train operational staff on new processes and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in industrial engineering, process improvement, or operations management
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, six sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement frameworks
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with statistical analysis
- Experience with process mapping, workflow optimisation, and capacity planning
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain environments is highly desirable
- Project management experience and familiarity with project management tools would be advantageous
- Filipino citizenship or valid work authorisation to work in the Philippines
