SENIOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANT
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant with at least 5 years of accounting, audit, or financial analysis experience to support our Australian operations.
This role is best suited for candidates who have a strong background in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, and who are comfortable presenting insights and recommendations to senior management.
You will work closely with the Accounting Head and leadership team to drive financial performance, improve business processes, and support strategic decision-making.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy
- CPA qualification is an advantage
- At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong background in management reporting and financial analysis
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, financial modelling)
- Experience using ERP systems or Xero
- Experience supporting management with business insights
- Prepare management reports, financial analysis, and performance dashboards
- Analyse financial and operational results, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities
- Partner with operational teams to improve profitability and performance
- Drive month-end reporting, reconciliations, and financial reviews
- Assist in strengthening financial controls and business processes
- Provide insights and recommendations to support management decisions
- Work directly with senior leadership
