Primary Responsibilities:

• Reviews the tax calculations, schedules, tax returns and forms, and/or other relevant reports initially prepared by the Tax Specialist for local tax filing and Accounts Specialist for regional tax filing
• Prepares tax calculations, schedules, tax returns and forms, and/or other relevant reports for the following tax and regulatory requirements
• Ensures timely filing of applicable tax forms/returns and timely payment of applicable tax dues/fees
• Drafts responses for various tax inquiries concerning the Company
• Coordinates with local tax authority for items concerning local tax filings and requirements
• Coordinates with the Foreign Tax Agent and/or the Regional Finance Manager for various tax and regulatory requirements of the Company in that country
• Monitors tasks concerning tax and regulatory requirements on a regular basis
• Prepares yearly budget for Tax and Regulatory Team
• Reports to immediate in-charge (i.e., Director – Tax and Regulatory) for review and approval
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned by Director – Tax and Regulatory from time to time

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Accounting or Finance – related course
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Highly significant knowledge in Philippine taxation
• Work experience in public (audit) or private accounting is an advantage
• Background in tax and regulatory filing for publicly listed company/ies and in foreign country/ies is an advantage
• Must be computer literate (MS Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)
• Must have a good business writing skills
• Must have a good interpersonal and leadership qualities
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Deadline-driven with excellent time management ability
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Note: This position is for an Individual Contributor and will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
