Job Purpose:
The Maintenance Technician ensures that all equipment, utilities, and physical assets across Bo’s Coffee branches are operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with standards. This role supports store operations through timely preventive maintenance and quick response to repair needs to minimize downtime and preserve product quality.
Top 10 Major Responsibilities: Conduct Preventive Maintenance
Perform scheduled inspections and servicing of equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, ovens, chillers, air conditioning units, and other store appliances.Respond to Repair Requests
Act promptly to resolve maintenance issues reported by store teams, minimizing operational disruptions.
Troubleshoot Equipment Malfunctions
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, or plumbing issues and repair or recommend corrective actions.
Maintain Store Utilities and Facilities
Ensure plumbing, electrical wiring, lighting, ventilation, and water systems are functioning properly.
Assist in Equipment Installation
Support the setup of new stores and renovation projects by helping install and test new machinery or fixtures.
Document Work and Maintenance Logs
Maintain accurate service records and submit daily reports of tasks accomplished and pending issues.
Coordinate with External Contractors
Assist in supervising outsourced repairs or installations to ensure compliance with Bo’s Coffee standards.
Monitor Spare Parts Inventory
Keep track of commonly used spare parts and request replenishment as needed to avoid delays in repairs.
Ensure Health & Safety Compliance
Follow safety protocols and ensure that store environments meet sanitation, safety, and maintenance standards.
Support Emergency ResponseBe available for urgent repair needs, especially during peak store hours or special events.
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications: Graduate of a vocational course or TESDA-certified in Electrical, Mechanical, or HVAC-R Technology
At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in the F&B or retail industryBasic knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and kitchen equipment
Willing to travel to various branch locations as needed
Possession of a valid driver’s license is an advantage
