Anyday is need of pizza cook trainees and we’re looking for the right members of our team.
As a pizza cook, you will gain a solid understanding of our style of service and our company's culture with continuous skills development. This is the starting point for future positions with your team. You will be assigned as a trainee under the tutelage of our pizzaiolos from our award winning restaurant, Playa Pizzeria, to prepare and cook pizza, pasta and other dishes for our pizzeria.
Job Description:
- Prepare and stretch pizza dough to the desired thickness and size.
- Assemble pizzas according to recipes.
- Cook pizzas in ovens, ensuring proper temperature, timing, and quality.
- Keep inventory of baking supplies and place orders for new supplies as needed.
- Prepare and stock pizza station with necessary ingredients and tools before each shift.
- Monitor ingredient quality and freshness, ensuring all items are stored properly.
- Inform the immediate Superior of any low-stock or spoilage issues.
- Ensure pizza ovens, prep tables, and other equipment are clean, functional, and well-maintained.
- Keep the pizza station organized and sanitary throughout the shift.
- Follow cleaning schedules and sanitation protocols.
- Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
- Collaborate with other bakery staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
