About the role

As a Safety Officer at Dionlong Construction Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all employees on construction sites. This is a full-time position based in Taguig City Metro Manila. You will play a critical role in promoting a culture of safety and compliance within the organisation.

• Conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
• Developing and implementing comprehensive safety policies, procedures and training programmes
• Investigating and reporting on any incidents or accidents, and recommending corrective actions
• Ensuring all construction activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations
• Collaborating with project managers and team members to integrate safety into all aspects of construction projects
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to safety management
• Providing guidance and support to site supervisors and workers on safety best practices

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations applicable to construction sites
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with all levels of the organisation
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Problem-solving skills and the capacity to think critically to identify and address safety risks
• Proficiency in conducting safety audits, inspections and investigations
• A relevant degree or certification in occupational health and safety
