What is the job?

The Senior Fund Accountant is responsible in managing accounting and financial reporting for private equity funds, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial statements.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and reviews fund financial statements in compliance with IFRS or US GAAP.
• Manages general ledger activities, including journal entries and period-end close.
• Calculates and reviews NAV, capital calls, and investor distributions.
• Maintains investor capital accounts and ensures accurate investor reporting.
• Coordinates with auditors and third-party providers during audits and reporting cycles.
• Identifies process improvements and supports system enhancements in fund accounting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in private equity fund accounting or fund administration.
• Experience using fund administration systems such as Investran or similar platforms.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of fund accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory standards (IFRS, US GAAP).
• Performs NAV calculations, capital activity tracking, and investor reporting accurately.
