Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineer
• With PME and/or RME license

Required Skills:

• Leadership and manpower management capabilities
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to pivot and try new approaches when faced with challenges
• Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously
• Must be well-versed in mechanical, electrical and plumbing activities
• Knowledgeable in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD
• Excellent grasp of Engineering principles and application to project handling implementation
• Leadership and project management skills
• Deeper understanding of HVAC standards, maintenance and installation
• In-depth knowledge of construction legal compliance and mandates

Required Experience:

• With 5-10 years experience as Field/Project Engineer
• With 5-10 years experience as Supervisor/ Manager
• Preferably with experience and knowledgeable in civil and structural works/project auditing
• Knowledgeable in ISO standards
• Preferably with BOSH and/or COSH Certification
• Driver’s license is an advantage

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project team members, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
• Develop and implement project plans, including scope, budget, materials, equipment, manpower and schedule.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and drawings, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Review and approve competitive quotations prior to submission to Sales
• Monitor project progress and identify any potential risks or issues, taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders, ensuring effective and timely communication.
• Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring optimal utilization and cost control.
• Ensure to report all important progress and/or concerns to higher management.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate project performance and outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Formulate policy and procedure for Project Management and Engineering
• Overall management of manpower and assignment of duties and project responsibilities
• Lead an coordinate various engineering functions and operations including quality assurance
• Manage critical problems and decision-making on what alternative actions to take in worst-case scenarios
• Maintain an effective project handling techniques and develop strategic plans to improve the current system
• Actively participate in Research and Development and give technical advices
• Ensure cost-effective measures on projects to enhance profitability and project savings
• Perform additional tasks that may be assigned by the President and CEO
