Work Details:

• Title: Lead/Senior Data Engineer (On-Premise & Azure)
• Job Type: Direct-hire, Full-time Employment
• Work Setup: Hybrid, 2x a week in BGC client onsite (Mon-Tues, 9AM to 6PM)

best fit for the role Main Qualifications: 8+ years of data engineering experience, with at least 5 years in SQL, Azure cloud technologies, and on-premises platforms. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data processing systems using distributed frameworks

• Build data pipelines to ingest data from various sources such as databases,

• Integrate and transform data to ensure its compatibility with the target data

• Design and optimize data storage architectures, including data lakes, data

• Implement techniques like partitioning, compression, or indexing to optimize

• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, tuning queries, and implementing caching

• Design and implement data models that support efficient data storage,

• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their

• Utilize frameworks like Hadoop or Spark to perform distributed computing

• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensuring compliance

• Establish data governance practices to maintain data integrity, quality, and

• Monitor system performance, identifying anomalies, and conducting root cause

• Communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a

• Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and techniques in the field

• Experience with Azure Data Services - Databricks and Data Factory
• Experience with Git repository maintenance and DevOps concepts
• Familiarity with building, testing, and deploying process
• Additional certifications in big data technologies or cloud platforms are
