The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance (both preventive and corrective) of the GE Smallworld GIS system. The position involves leading small project teams, managing software tools and applications (such as GE Electric Office, GSA, GSS, MES, EO-Web), and coordinating with multiple stakeholders including clients, end-users, consultants, and offshore teams.Key responsibilities include project execution within time and budget, system analysis, software development, testing, and maintaining client relationships.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience with GE Smallworld GIS and related tools (GE Electric Office, GSA, GSS, MES, EO-Web).
- Strong programming, analysis, and software development skills.
- Project management experience, including budget and timeline adherence.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Experience in working with cross-functional and offshore teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Client-facing experience and ability to handle meetings and technical discussions effectively.
