Reports To: Group Retail Manager

Job Summary:

The Sales Associate is responsible for driving vehicle sales by understanding customer needs, providing product knowledge, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The role involves building strong relationships, meeting sales targets, and supporting the dealership’s overall growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement & Sales:
  • Greet customers promptly and professionally.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicles.
  • Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
  • Negotiate pricing and close sales effectively.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, features, financing options, and promotions.
  • Communicate technical specifications and benefits in an understandable manner.
  • Sales Targets & Reporting:
  • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports in the CRM system.
  • Monitor market trends and provide feedback to management.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
  • Follow up with leads and maintain relationships with existing customers.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the finance, service, and marketing teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in training sessions and product launches.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum education: High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in automotive or retail sales is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle financing, insurance, and warranty options is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM and MS Office applications.
