Position: Elevator Technician

Job Summary:

The Elevator Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation equipment. The technician ensures that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance on elevators, escalators, and related equipment.

Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults.

Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns.

Conduct safety inspections and functional testing of equipment.

Install, adjust, and replace elevator components as required.

Maintain accurate service records and reports.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.

Coordinate with customers regarding maintenance schedules and repair activities.

Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications:

Graduate of Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Technology, or a related technical course.

Experience in elevator and escalator maintenance is an advantage.

Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Willing to work on-site, at heights, and during emergency call-outs when necessary.

Physically fit and safety-conscious.
