Supply Chain Consulting Manager
Job Summary
The Consulting Manager – Supply Chain is a strategic, client-facing role that combines strategy consulting, solution advisory, and sales support. This position partners with senior stakeholders to define and align supply chain, commerce, and fulfillment strategies, translating business needs into actionable solution roadmaps and compelling value propositions.
You will leverage deep industry expertise, consulting experience, and strong communication skills to lead discovery sessions, develop solution perspectives, and support complex sales cycles. This role plays a key part in positioning integrated supply chain solutions across multiple capabilities and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology enablement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Solution Consulting- Understand and articulate end-to-end supply chain processes, including planning, warehouse management, and transportation management
- Develop insights on industry trends such as automated warehousing, transportation optimization, last-mile delivery, and supply chain planning
- Engage with client stakeholders to assess business processes, challenges, and objectives
- Identify root causes of operational issues and map them to appropriate solution strategies
- Develop end-to-end solution recommendations aligned with business goals
- Translate business requirements into solution roadmaps and deployment plans
- Clearly articulate the business impact and value of proposed solutions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to quantify benefits and build data-driven business cases
- Present compelling, structured recommendations supported by process improvements, value drivers, and solution demonstrations
- Support complex, multi-solution sales cycles by coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders
- Lead or facilitate solution workshops, discovery sessions, and client presentations
- Develop a strong understanding of competitive offerings and positioning strategies
- Ensure alignment of resources and activities to drive successful client engagements and win outcomes
- Work cross-functionally with solution, delivery, and sales teams to ensure cohesive execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, partners, and internal teams
- Provide leadership in managing engagements and guiding teams toward successful outcomes
- 5–10 years of experience in management consulting or as a senior industry practitioner
- Strong background in end-to-end supply chain processes
- At least 4 years of experience in Retail, CPG, or B2B Manufacturing industries, with client-facing consulting exposure
- Proven experience supporting complex, value-based solution selling engagements
- Strong consulting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders
- Ability to develop and deliver structured business cases and strategic recommendations
- Strong understanding of supply chain best practices, innovation, and transformation
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- High level of organization, accountability, and ability to manage multiple priorities
