Role Summary
Seeking a strategic, analytical Supply Chain Manager to oversee the entire logistics, inventory, and distribution lifecycle for our fashion retail operations (stores, e-commerce, distributors). The role is crucial for managing seasonal demand volatility, optimizing vendor relations, driving warehouse efficiency, and executing strategies to maximize cost reduction, accelerate delivery, and ensure rigorous quality control.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory & Forecasting: Forecast demand and manage stock to prevent stockouts and overstock, especially during seasonal launches.
- Sourcing & Vendor Management: Lead negotiations with international manufacturers (cost, lead times, shipping) and rigorously monitor vendor performance.
- Logistics Oversight: Direct finished goods movement from manufacturing through 3PLs to final destinations, ensuring strict On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) compliance.
- Warehouse Operations: Implement superior processes (picking, packing, shipping) and advanced technology (barcode scanning) to maximize efficiency and inventory accuracy.
- Performance Analytics: Utilize ERP and data analytics for accurate forecasting and reporting on key KPIs (e.g., inventory turnover, freight cost/unit).
- Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean principles to eliminate bottlenecks, reduce costs, and accelerate speed-to-market.
- Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensure strict adherence to customs regulations for imported footwear and develop robust contingency plans for logistical disruptions.
- Minimum 5 years of supply chain management experience, specifically in retail, footwear, or fashion apparel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- Expert-level command of major ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced proficiency in Excel/Google workplace for data analysis.
- Demonstrated expertise in fashion retail distribution, global sourcing, and meticulous inventory control.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, analytical mindset, proven leadership, and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.
- Hybrid: 4 onsite (Mon-Thu) 1 WFH (Fri)
