Job Summary:
They act as the front-line and escalation point for technical issues, ensuring end-users remain productive by minimizing IT downtime and seamlessly resolving workstation or network connectivity problems.
Required skills and qualifications- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline
- Prior experience working as a desktop support engineer, support technician or in a similar role
- Experience in a Trading or Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) or Asset Management experience environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of computer systems, be it hardware, software or networks
- Outstanding problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate to end users and the stakeholders of the company
Preferred skills but not mandatory:
- Experience in installing, monitoring and maintaining hardware/software within computer systems
- Prior knowledge in cloud computation, scripting languages, and IT projects
- Exposure to customer service
