Job Description

A pharmacist manages the distribution of medications to people with various health issues. They communicate with doctors to determine the right type and dosage of medication, keep track of inventory, and reorder drugs as needed. Pharmacists also fill prescriptions and answer questions from customers.

Pharmacist Duties and Responsibilities

A pharmacist is responsible for executing a diverse range of essential duties throughout the workday. Key responsibilities include:

• Receiving and accurately filling prescriptions
• Communicating effectively with medical professionals regarding patient care and medication management
• Listening attentively to patients' reports of symptoms and providing informed recommendations for over-the-counter medications
• Precisely measuring, preparing, and distributing the correct medications to patients in need
• Monitoring and managing inventory levels to ensure optimal pharmacy operations
