Product Development Manager

The Product Development Manager is responsible for driving the strategic development, management, and growth of assigned product portfolios within the construction and infrastructure market. The role leads product lifecycle initiatives, market intelligence activities, commercialization strategies, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure products remain competitive, profitable, and aligned with customer and industry requirements.

The position serves as the key link between customers, Sales, Technical, Operations, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to identify market opportunities, develop value-driven solutions, and support sustainable business growth.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Licensed Civil Engineer).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Development, Technical Marketing, Business Development, or Market Development
• Strong understanding of project-based construction markets and customer requirements.
• Experience in product commercialization, market development, pricing strategy, and portfolio management.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, presentation, communication, and business planning skills.
• Experience working with developers, consultants, contractors, project owners, and engineering firms is an advantage.
• Proficiency in CRM, ERP, SAP, Salesforce, or related business systems is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product portfolio strategies aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
• Conduct market research, customer analysis, competitive benchmarking, and industry trend assessments to identify growth opportunities.
• Recommend product enhancements, new product opportunities, and portfolio optimization initiatives.
• Monitor product performance and develop action plans to improve market competitiveness and profitability.

• Lead product development initiatives from concept validation to market launch.
• Collaborate with Technical, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to ensure successful product introduction and execution.
• Support pricing strategy development, business case preparation, and commercialization planning.
• Establish go-to-market strategies and monitor post-launch performance.

• Build strong relationships with consultants, developers, contractors, project owners, and key industry stakeholders.
• Gather customer insights and translate market requirements into product and business opportunities.
• Identify project opportunities and support business development initiatives through technical-commercial engagement.
• Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and professional organizations.

• Provide product knowledge support and market intelligence to Sales and Business Development teams.
• Develop product presentations, technical literature, training materials, and customer-facing content.
• Conduct product training sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support strategic customer discussions and value-based solution presentations.

• Support achievement of revenue, profitability, and market share targets for assigned product categories.
• Participate in forecasting, inventory planning, and demand management activities.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing movements, and emerging market trends.
