JOB SUMMARY:

The Junior Technical and Application Support for Internal Systems role is responsible for providing first-line support for internal systems and operational applications used within the organization. This includes helping users resolve technical issues, assisting with system configurations and updates, and escalating more complex problems to senior team members or vendors.

The role also involves documenting solutions, supporting user training, and working closely with Application Development & Quality Assurance teams to ensure applications run smoothly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide first-level technical support for internal systems and operational applications.
  • Respond to and resolve user issues and service requests in a timely manner.
  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to senior support team members or relevant teams.
  • Assist with system configurations, user access management, and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Support application updates, deployments, and testing activities.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, known issues, and solutions in the knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand application requirements and user needs.
  • Assist in user onboarding and provide basic training on internal systems and applications.
  • Monitor system performance and report any anomalies or recurring issues.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and support procedures.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with common software applications and troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple issues concurrently.
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies, systems, and tools as needed.
  • Ability to document technical issues and solutions accurately, ensuring effective knowledge management.
  • Exposure to customer-facing roles or working in a service-oriented environment is a plus.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal teams and clients effectively
