QC ENGINEER/ARCHITECT

The Position:

1. Monitors projects assigned ensuring standards are consistently followed and complied by the construction workers through the Leadmen and Contractors.
2. Rectifies works which do not pass standards and escalates to the Operations Director as needed prior to actions taken
3. Ensures all works on site pass set standards both structural and finishing scope prior to approval of Operations Director.
4. Reports/Communicates weekly or earlier as needed to Operations Directors progress of site works, issues, concerns, problems encountered and managed.
5. Contributes and supports to the timely accomplishment of project goals and timelines.

The Person:

1. A graduate of BS Civil Engineering or Architecture. Preferably licensed with at least 3 years experience in construction work.
2. If underboard must have a long stretch of expereince in the field to compensate.
3. Willing and enjoys handling site field work monitoring on-going construction works based on STANDARDS.
4. Has an eagle eye for details to check/inspect quality of work on site
5. High sense of urgency to address timeline commitments of projects
6. Has good leadership and communication skills to communicate with all concerned on site to discuss and solve issues of nonconformances to avoid unnecessary costs and quality output
7. Good rapport with superiors and counterparts
8. Willing to learn and grow in a fast paced, quality and result oriented work environment
9. Computer savvy.
