MARKETING SPECIALIST (Technical Copywriting, SEO & WordPress)

The Marketing Specialist will support the Group Marketing Director and collaborate across teams to develop and execute marketing initiatives. This role suits someone who is hands-on, organized, and able to turn technical inputs into clear, effective content (not just nice-looking designs).

Remuneration will vary according to experience, matching skillsets, work mode (onsite or hybrid), work ethics, and ability to communicate and work independently.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development & Implementation
  • Assist the Director in planning and executing marketing activities and initiatives.
Content Creation & Campaign Management
  • Create engaging content, including icons, images, simple videos, datasheets, brochures, presentations, and website content.
  • Support basic marketing campaigns across social media and marketing platforms, analyze performance, and optimize where needed.
  • Technical copywriting (core): write and refine clear, accurate B2B content for product pages, brochures, one-pagers, and training materials—ensuring the messaging is easy to understand and works.
Web & Digital Management (SEO + WordPress)
  • Develop and update webpages, ensuring content is engaging and optimized for SEO.
  • Use tools like WordPress (and basic CSS knowledge is a plus) to maintain a strong online presence.
  • Support our SEO initiative with basic-to-intermediate execution (e.g., keyword research fundamentals, on-page improvements, content updates) and basic performance tracking.
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze marketing data and generate performance summaries/reports for continuous improvement.
  • Track KPIs to measure the success of campaigns and recommend practical next steps.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
  • Work with Product, Sales, Customer Support, and the software team to align marketing work with company objectives.
  • Provide support for new service launches.
  • Occasionally support light UI/UX-related tasks with the software team (e.g., UI visuals, layouts, screenshots/visuals for documentation and training).
Work Tracking & Communication (Important)
  • Manage tasks using a tracker (e.g., Trello/ClickUp/Asana) and provide simple weekly updates (done/next/blockers).
  • Keep deliverables organized and easy to review (files/links).

Other Responsibilities

Lead Generation Mailers (Basic Level)
  • Support lead generation mailers/EDMs using templates.
  • Perform basic improvements like subject line/CTA testing and track simple metrics (open rate, CTR, conversions).
Event Management (Occasional)
  • Support planning and execution of virtual and in-person events (exhibitions, partner gatherings, seminars).
  • Assist with logistics, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years in a marketing role (we are not looking for deep specialists; strong execution and responsibility matter most). Experience in IT services (Cloud/SaaS) or hospitality is a plus.
Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., SEO, SEM, Google Analytics).
  • Proficiency with WordPress; basic CSS knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is preferred.
Analytical & Communication Skills
  • Good analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (primarily English), especially for technical copywriting and clear progress updates.
Organizational Skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently and with a team.
