Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
3 too 5 years experience as Mainframe Developer.
Strong hands-on experience with IBM z/OS operating system.
Proven experience developing and supporting CICS online applications.
Solid COBOL programming experience in enterprise environments.
Experience writing, modifying, and troubleshooting JCL jobs.
Strong knowledge of DB2 databases and embedded SQL.
Experience with VSAM files and mainframe data structures.
Ability to debug, test, and optimize mainframe programs.
Experience supporting production systems in banking or insurance.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with system integrations between mainframe and distributed platforms.
Experience in legacy system modernization or migration initiatives.
