The Registered Librarian is responsible for managing library operations, organizing learning resources, and providing research and reference assistance to students, faculty, and staff. The role ensures that library services effectively support academic and institutional needs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science (BLIS) or related field
  • Must be a Registered Librarian with a valid PRC License
  • At least 1 year of related experience is an advantage, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Knowledgeable in library systems, cataloging, and library management
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital library tools
  • Detail-oriented and service-oriented
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily library operations, including circulation, cataloging, and inventory of library materials
  • Assist students, faculty, and staff with research and reference inquiries
  • Organize and maintain print and digital learning resources
  • Ensure proper classification, filing, and preservation of library materials
  • Prepare library reports and maintain accurate records
  • Support accreditation and compliance requirements related to library services
  • Promote reading programs and library utilization activities
  • Coordinate acquisition and updating of books, journals, and other educational resources
  • Maintain a conducive and organized learning environment within the library
